Hi, I'm Carl. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at CU Boulder. I've been designing and building for over eight years, starting with competitive VEX robotics and evolving into highly involved personal projects and professional engineering roles.
Serving as the lead designer and builder for two world-class VEX robotics teams (2654P Pronounce This and 2654E Echo), I designed and developed over 20 high-performing robots. My designs helped drive our team to over 50 awards, multiple world records, and a World Championship title at the world's largest robotics competition.
I've been racing sailboats competitively for most of my life. That experience gave me a practical understanding of fluid dynamics and the problem-solving skills to build better gear. This directly inspired me to design, manufacture, and sell my own performance sailing hardware.
Another project which I've recently embarked on is a robot dog based on custom high-precision linear actuators.
Feel free to scroll down and explore some of my recent builds and projects.
